Naushad Alam

Naushad Alam is a contemporary artist known for his vibrant depictions of architectural landscapes and figurative compositions. Originally trained as a graphic designer, he transitioned into fine art, developing a distinctive visual language rooted in color, structure, and spatial rhythm.

Working primarily in oil on canvas, Alam’s paintings often explore urban and heritage architecture, with particular emphasis on geometric rooftops, historic facades, and textured brick surfaces. His use of bold, vivid hues—reds, yellows, and oranges—combined with carefully structured compositions, creates a strong sense of depth and perspective. His works frequently present a bird’s-eye view, inviting viewers to engage with layered cityscapes and cultural environments.

Alongside architectural themes, Alam also produces figurative and abstract works, reflecting versatility in subject and approach. His paintings have been exhibited in gallery shows and are part of private collections, with a consistent presence in the contemporary Pakistani art market.

Naushad Alam continues to explore the relationship between tradition and modernity, capturing the evolving visual identity of urban life through a dynamic and color-driven practice.
