Bandah Ali is a contemporary Pakistani painter and a recipient of the Presidential Medal of Excellence (Tamgha-e-Imtiaz). A largely self-taught artist, he is known for his vibrant figurative paintings that celebrate the rich cultural heritage of Sindh. 

His work primarily focuses on the lives and traditions of Thari women, capturing their grace, joyful expressions, and the colorful vibrancy of their traditional attire. Through dynamic compositions, he depicts moments of dance, music, and everyday cultural life, highlighting the beauty and spirit of the Thar region. 

Working mainly in acrylic and oil on canvas, Bandah Ali’s paintings are characterized by bold colors, rhythmic movement, and rich cultural symbolism.
