He completed Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in 2000 and have since actively participated in numerous national and international group exhibitions, along with holding a solo exhibition in Karachi. My artistic journey has allowed me to explore and present my work to diverse audiences while continuously developing my visual language and creative approach.
My landscapes are primarily created using acrylic and watercolor. I draw deep inspiration from subtle light, quiet atmospheres, and intimate natural scenes rather than dramatic contrasts or grand vistas. For me, painting in the field is an essential part of the creative process. It is where I observe the environment closely, gather impressions, and absorb the complex beauty of the natural world.
However, my strongest ideas often emerge later—sometimes months or even years after the initial experience. As the memory of a scene matures in my mind, the essence of what first inspired me becomes clearer. At that stage, I rely on the knowledge and understanding I have developed through years of plein air practice, allowing me the freedom to refine and orchestrate the composition to express a deeper, more abstract idea.
Through this process, my aim is to move beyond mere documentation of a landscape and guide the work toward a more poetic expression—where emotion, memory, and atmosphere come together to create a deeper connection with the viewer.
